On July 4, 2021, my old friend, Michelle Lesco, won the women's division of the 2021 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island. I caught up with her to talk about the big win, her competitive eating career, and more. We also reminisce on old times, like the moments she showed a glimmer of the food beast she was about to become, and she shares the secret to being a good human (hint hint: BE NICE!).
